PANCAKE DAY

Pancake Day is celebrate the Tuesday before Lent Starts – ie 40 days before Easter. Traditionally, Pancake Day was all about using up all the eggs and butter and rich foods before the period of fasting. In modern day Britain it is an eagerly awaited day by children.

E' un dolce circolare simile al pane con una croce disegnata sopra e viene mangiato in alcuni paesi cristiani nel periodo della Pasqua.

EASTER  CHOCOLATE EGGS HUNT
Every Easter, children across the country rush around their homes and gardens searching for chocolate eggs. For many families Easter just isn’t Easter without the annual egg hunt. 

 Molti bambini nel mondo per la festa di Pasqua sono soliti fare la caccia al tesoro delle uova di cioccolato: corrono attorno alle loro case o nel giardino a cercare uova di cioccolato che un Bunny (un coniglietto) ha nascosto in precedenza. Per molte famiglie inglesi non è Pasqua se non si svolge la "Easter Chocolate Eggs Hunt". Prova anche tu, servono delle uova (possono essere anche di gallina colorate da te) e uno spazio in cui nasconderle. Poi inizia il gioco e vince chi ne trova di più!! Se son di cioccolato, al termine si dividono tra tutti i partecipanti! Enjoy
